On the afternoon of April 2nd, the Nghe An Center for Disease Control and Prevention provided the following information:Over the past 12 hours (from 06:00 to 18:00 on April 2nd),Nghe Anrecorded1,704 new positive caseswith Covid-19. This includes466 community cases1,238 cases were previously isolated (1,238 of which were F1 contacts).

Localities with the highest number of patients in the past 12 hours: Vinh City, Quynh Luu, Nghia Dan, Nam Dan, Yen Thanh... 01 patient died due to Covid-19 (an 85-year-old patient with underlying health conditions).

In the past 24 hours, Nghe An recorded 2,911 new Covid-19 cases, including 697 community cases; and 1 death due to Covid-19.

The cumulative number of cases recorded in the province since the beginning of the epidemic has been...404,061 cases of Covid-19.Cumulative number of patients who have recovered and been discharged: 356,287. Cumulative number of deaths: 170. Number of patients currently under treatment: 47,604.
