Authorities from Ulyanovsk province (Russia) will visit Nghe An province and inaugurate a monument to V.I. Lenin in Vinh city.
(Baonghean.vn) - Regarding the propaganda orientation for April 2024, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested that media agencies publish numerous articles about the event of welcoming the high-level delegation from the Ulyanovsk province of the Russian Federation to visit and work in Nghe An, and the inauguration of the VI Lenin Monument in Vinh City.
On the afternoon of April 4th, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications, and the Provincial Journalists Association jointly organized the April 2024 Press Briefing Conference. The conference was chaired by: Mr. Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Mr. Nguyen Ba Hao - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications; and Mr. Tran Minh Ngoc - President of the Provincial Journalists Association.
At the conference, reviewing press work in March, Mr. Nguyen Ba Hao - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications - stated: In March 2024, press agencies strictly adhered to the direction and guidance of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the state management of the Department of Information and Communications. Many press agencies produced high-quality articles, features, reports, and programs that highlighted key topics of the month.

Specifically, in the field of current affairs and politics, the press agencies have extensively publicized the province's domestic and foreign activities; the key contents of the regular March 2024 meetings of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Committee; activities commemorating the 76th anniversary of the People's Police studying and implementing the Six Teachings of President Ho Chi Minh; and the Nghe An Police receiving the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces, all of which were reported and updated promptly and comprehensively.

In addition, the press has reported on shortcomings in some projects, mentioning issues such as: difficulties in land clearance at some projects causing delays; rising transportation costs causing difficulties and pressure for businesses; existing problems and inadequacies in some industrial clusters; tax arrears; illegal sand and mineral exploitation and deforestation; environmental pollution; and the deterioration and inefficiency of some project facilities…
In the cultural field, during March, the press published numerous articles and images about activities and festival atmospheres in the province, contributing to the promotion of Nghe An's tangible and intangible cultural heritage to people nationwide and international friends, as well as attracting tourists.

At the same time, some media outlets published articles reflecting on the distortion, commercialization, and abuse of festivals for profit; the problem of "selling gods and saints," superstition, and irrational beliefs... which erode traditional cultural values; and emphasized the effectiveness of the tourism industry's implementation of solutions to promote tourism development and contribute to promoting the tourism brand of Nghe An province.
In its April 2024 propaganda orientation, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested that media outlets extensively publicize the visit and working trip of the high-level delegation from the Ulyanovsk province of the Russian Federation to Nghe An province, including the inauguration of the V.I. Lenin Monument in Vinh City, scheduled for mid-April. The V.I. Lenin Monument in Vinh City is a symbol of friendship between Vietnam and Russia in general, and a cultural and artistic symbol reflecting the sentiments of the people of Nghe An and Ulyanovsk provinces in particular.

Through this event, media outlets should publicize the good relationship and diplomatic activities between Nghe An province and Ulyanovsk province, further deepening bilateral cooperation in the fields of investment, trade, health, education and training, tourism, etc.
In addition, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department also requested that media agencies extensively publicize major events and holidays in the month, especially focusing on news and articles about activities leading up to the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 – May 7, 2024).
