The online service for renewing driver's licenses officially launched on March 26th.
Today, March 26th, the Traffic Police Department officially launched its new public service information page to facilitate the issuance and renewal of driver's licenses for citizens.
Accordingly, from March 26th, the Traffic Police Department officially launched its new public service information website at: https://dvc-gplx.csgt.bocongan.gov.vn.
Between March 26th and March 31st, 2025, when people access the public service website of the Vietnam Road Administration, the system will automatically redirect them to the public service website of the Ministry of Public Security.
The Traffic Police Department recommends that people apply for or renew their driver's licenses online to minimize travel time and expedite the process.
According to the Law on Road Traffic Safety, if a driver's license has been integrated into an electronic identification account, presentation and verification can be done through that account. Therefore, road users presenting their driver's licenses through the VNeID application is in accordance with the law.
Following instructions from the Department of Transport, the Nghe An Provincial Police will begin processing driver's license examinations and issuance procedures from March 3, 2025, at 108 Hoang Phan Thai Street, Nghi Phu Ward, Vinh City.
