Prices for goods today are 5-10% higher than in the days before Tet (Lunar New Year) due to scarcity. Vegetables are the most popular item. Meat and fish are also available at specific prices: Beef costs from 280,000 to 300,000 VND/kg, pork from 100,000 to 120,000 VND/kg; fish costs from 100,000 to 250,000 VND/kg depending on the type. Vegetables are expensive, costing from 15,000 to 20,000 VND per bunch.
