Mr. Nguyen Ba Canh is removed from his position as a representative of the Da Nang People's Council.

Within the framework of the 11th session of the Da Nang City People's Council, 9th term, 2016-2021, on the afternoon of July 11th, the Da Nang City People's Council unanimously passed a resolution to relieve Mr. Nguyen Ba Canh from his duties as a representative of the Da Nang City People's Council, term 2016-2021.

Based on the resignation request of Mr. Nguyen Ba Canh from his position as a representative of the Da Nang City People's Council for the 2016-2021 term due to family reasons, the Da Nang City People's Council proceeded with the procedures to pass a resolution with 42 out of 42 representatives present at the meeting agreeing, achieving a rate of 87.5% of the total number of representatives for this term.

Previously, on May 14th, the Central Party Secretariat met to consider and impose disciplinary action against Mr. Nguyen Ba Canh, a member of the Da Nang City Party Committee and Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department.

Based on Regulation No. 102-QD/TW dated December 15, 2017, of the Politburo on disciplinary action against violating Party members, and considering the content, nature, extent, consequences of the violations, and the work history of Mr. Nguyen Ba Canh, the Secretariat of the Central Committee decided to discipline Mr. Nguyen Ba Canh by removing him from all his positions in the Party.
