Around dusk, many eateries along National Highway 1A, near Cam Bridge, send staff out to invite travelers to stop for a meal. Because it's dark, each staff member is equipped with a flashlight, waving with one hand and shining the light with the other to "invite" customers into the restaurant.

Notably, most of the lights used by the staff here are very bright and are often shone directly at pedestrians. Nguyen Van Trung, a long-distance truck driver, said he has been "invited" to eat in this manner many times while driving along this stretch of road. The bright light from the flashlights blinds him, making it difficult to see the road clearly, which is very dangerous.

Having been a victim of this "invitation" tactic, Ms. Le Thuy Lan, a resident of Nghi Quang, Nghi Loc, complained that she had stumbled and nearly fallen several times due to the bright light from flashlights along the roadside, mistaken for customers coming in to eat. This situation has been going on for some time, causing concern among many people.

Science has proven that being suddenly blinded by a strong light source can cause temporary blindness. This is even more dangerous when the person is driving.
