Burying drugs under the floor to avoid the police.

(Baonghean.vn) - Xa went to Tuong Duong to buy drugs and then hid them under the floorboards of his house. Xa had a gun and a knife ready to resist arrest.

At approximately 1 PM on December 16th, the Thanh Chuong District Police arrested Vi Vong Xa (born in 1968, residing in Ta Xieng village, Ngoc Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district) for trafficking, possessing narcotics, and using military weapons.

During a search of the suspect and the kitchen floor of Xa's family home, authorities seized two packages of drugs. Specifically, 32.325 grams of methamphetamine; 5.32 grams of heroin; a K54 pistol; 3 bullets, a sharp knife, and several other items.

At the police station, Xa confessed that on December 15th, he went to Tuong Duong district to meet and buy two packages of drugs from a Mong ethnic man for 20 million VND. After buying them, Xa brought them home with the intention of using them and selling them for profit. He was arrested while he was dividing the drugs into smaller portions.

Xa is a drug addict who has previously undergone compulsory rehabilitation and has one prior conviction for the same crime of illegally possessing and trading narcotics.

The case is currently being investigated further by the Thanh Chuong District Police.
