Husband kills wife and two children, then cuts off his own hand.

Initial information from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police indicates that the cause of the tragic murder in Nga An commune, Nga Son district, was a marital dispute.

Earlier, at around 6:30 AM on December 29th, the Nga Son District Police in Thanh Hoa Province received a report from residents about a triple murder in Hamlet 8, Nga An Commune, Nga Son District. The victims were Ms. Pham Thi T (born in 1982) and her two daughters, NTD (born in 2006) and NHA (born in 2012).

Immediately after receiving the information, the Director of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police directly instructed the Criminal Police Department, the Forensic Technical Department, and the Nga Son District Police to conduct a scene investigation, autopsy, and carry out investigative activities.

Initial investigations revealed that at approximately 10 PM on December 28th, due to a marital dispute, Nguyen Minh Hung (born in 1981) used a knife to stab his wife and two children multiple times. Afterward, Hung used the knife to stab himself in the left hand in an attempt to commit suicide. On the morning of December 29th, Hung was discovered by relatives and neighbors, taken to the hospital for emergency treatment, and reported the incident to the authorities.

Confirming the incident, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police leadership stated that the initial cause was determined to be marital conflict leading to the tragic murder. Currently, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police are investigating and clarifying the cause, motive, and nature of the case to bring the perpetrator to justice.
