Husband goes missing while tending buffaloes; wife shouts for help and searches.
(Baonghean.vn) - Seeing her husband's clothes and sandals at the riverbank but not him, Ms. Ha alerted the villagers to search, but he has not been found yet.
On the afternoon of August 30th, Mr. Tran Thanh (residing in Xuan Hoa hamlet, Thanh Xuan commune, Thanh Chuong district) went to herd buffalo in the fields near his house. Around 3:30 PM that same day, when he hadn't returned, his wife and children split up to search for him.

Upon arriving at the Sơ wharf area, Ms. Hà (Mr. Thanh's wife) discovered her husband's clothes and sandals on the bank. Earlier, Mr. Thanh's daughter, standing at a distance, had seen her father swimming across the river. Suspecting her husband had drowned, Ms. Hà called on family, relatives, and neighbors to spread out and search for him.
Upon receiving the report, the Thanh Xuan commune police force dispatched personnel to coordinate with local residents, using nets and fishing rods to search the river section, but by 9 PM that day, Mr. Thanh had still not been found.
According to Mr. Nguyen Canh Dinh, the head of the Thanh Xuan commune police, the disappearance of Mr. Thanh has been reported to higher authorities and the search is still ongoing.
