Restaurant owner in Nghe An posts on Facebook looking for customer who left behind 1 billion VND

According to Mr. Quang, at noon on April 10, a group of customers entered the restaurant. After leaving, the restaurant staff discovered a black bag on the chair while cleaning the table, so they informed Mr. Quang.

After receiving the information, Mr. Quang verified through the camera and found out that the bag was left by the group of guests. However, the guests had left for quite a while at that time, and there were no documents in the bag, so there was no way to contact them.

After a while, when no customers returned, he opened the bag to check and was startled to see a lot of money in the bag, estimated at nearly 1 billion VND. He asked his wife, Ms. Nguyen Tra Giang, to take a picture and post it on Facebook to find the owner. From that moment on, Mr. Quang did not dare to take his eyes off the bag and sat there waiting for someone to come and claim it.

"I was sitting there waiting impatiently. At first, I wanted to report it to the local authorities, but that day was a holiday so I didn't call. Besides, this was a large amount of money, anyone who left it would be anxious to find it, so I had faith that the owner would return, so the whole family waited patiently..." - Mr. Quang said.

At 6pm the same day, the group of guests returned to the restaurant. After checking the camera and confirming that these were indeed the guests who left their bags, Mr. Quang and his wife returned the property to the owner intact.

Mr. Quang shared: "When they came to receive the bag, both sides were very happy. The owner found his property, we were relieved of the worries that had been plaguing us all afternoon, and were also very happy that the large sum of money had returned to the right person. Afterwards, they sent us 3 million VND to thank us, my wife and I refused to accept it, but they still sent it back as a gift for the staff...".
