Sacombank Chairman Duong Cong Minh takes on new responsibilities.
The Board of Directors of Sacombank has just passed a resolution appointing Chairman Duong Cong Minh as the bank's representative in civil transactions and litigation, ensuring smooth operations during the restructuring phase.
The Board of Directors of Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank – ticker STB) has just announced Resolution No. 155/2025/NQ-HĐQT, appointing Mr. Duong Cong Minh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, as the bank's representative in civil transactions and litigation.
This decision was made in the context of the bank undergoing a restructuring of its organization and senior personnel, aimed at ensuring the legitimate interests of Sacombank, its customers, and partners.
Roles and responsibilities of the Chairman of the Board of Directors
According to the resolution, Mr. Duong Cong Minh will represent Sacombank in exercising rights and obligations in civil transactions, working relationships with competent State agencies, as well as participating in litigation and other legal matters.
Mr. Minh is also authorized to delegate authority to Sacombank's officers and employees to sign credit agreements, guarantee agreements, and other documents related to banking operations. These documents will have full legal effect. After the bank completes its organizational restructuring, the new legal representative will inherit and ensure the full exercise of all arising rights and obligations.
The mark of Mr. Duong Cong Minh at Sacombank
Mr. Duong Cong Minh has held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sacombank since 2017, following the merger with Southern Bank. He is considered a key figure in the process of handling bad debts, restoring operations, and completing the restructuring of Sacombank.
Currently, Mr. Minh is the largest individual shareholder in the bank with a 3.32% stake, equivalent to 62.6 million shares. His related party, Ms. Duong Thi Liem, owns 0.63% of the charter capital.
Sacombank launches new brand identity.
During this period, Sacombank also introduced a new logo and brand identity with a more minimalist style. The "S" symbol remains the core of the identity, while the brand name "SACOMBANK" is presented in uppercase letters without any embellishments.
The new logo uses a deep blue background combined with metallic gold accents, representing a selective continuation and suitability to the bank's new development context.
