Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai visited and congratulated the Provincial Border Guard Command on the occasion of the founding day of the Vietnam People's Army.

On the morning of December 22nd, a delegation from the Provincial People's Committee, led by Mr. Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and congratulated the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard Command on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2025) and the 36th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2025).

The delegation included comrades: Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Dang Thanh Tung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office.

Welcoming the delegation were Colonel Nguyen Cong Luc - Commander; Colonel Tran Quang Trung - Political Commissar; members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee - Border Guard Command; and leaders of the departments of the Provincial Border Guard Command.

Comrade Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - emphasized the profound concern of the political system, Party committees, governments at all levels, departments, and the people for the heroic Vietnam People's Army; and at the same time acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and concrete results of the Provincial Border Guard Command in carrying out its duties, making an important contribution to the all-round development of the locality. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the Border Guard force for effectively performing its duties and functions as prescribed; and for effectively and promptly coordinating with localities, especially in areas where they are stationed, in remote and isolated regions, to successfully protect the territorial sovereignty and border security of the Fatherland.

Furthermore, the Border Guard Force has also effectively implemented conventions and commitments, coordinating with the Border Guard Force of Laos to build, consolidate, and promote a peaceful, friendly, and cooperative border for mutual development with Laos; while actively preventing and combating crime in the border areas on land and at sea; preventing and combating IUU fishing; actively supporting and assisting localities and people in disaster prevention, response, rescue, and relief; and coordinating with local Party committees and authorities in building a strong and comprehensive political system.

Looking ahead, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai hopes that the Border Guard force will continue to build upon its achievements; be even more proactive in advising local Party committees and authorities; effectively perform its assigned functions and tasks, and make a positive contribution to the cause of national construction and defense.

Expressing sincere gratitude for the attention and affection shown by the provincial leaders to the Border Guard force, Colonel Nguyen Cong Luc, Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command, stated that this serves as motivation for the officers and soldiers of the unit to continue to excellently fulfill their assigned tasks; at the same time, it demonstrates the concern of the provincial leaders for the forces serving in the border regions of the Fatherland. In the coming time, the Provincial Border Guard force will continue to unite, cooperate closely, and effectively coordinate with relevant sectors and localities to excellently fulfill the tasks entrusted by the Party, the State, and the People.
