Pho Mon Pagoda gives 130 gifts to poor students in mountainous areas
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 10, Pho Mon Pagoda (Nghi Lien Commune, Vinh City) coordinated with Tam Quang 2 Primary School, Tam Quang Commune, Tuong Duong District to organize a charity program to give gifts to poor students in the school.

Tam Quang 2 Primary School has 130 students from 5 ethnic groups studying in 5 grades. The school is located in a commune on the Vietnam - Laos border, teaching conditions are still difficult, teachers have to regularly encourage students to go to school.
On this occasion, the delegation presented 130 gifts to the students, each gift included a warm coat, a pair of boots, an umbrella, a box of instant noodles and other necessities. The total value of the gifts was over 30 million VND.

The volunteer group included many barbers. In addition to giving gifts, the group also organized free haircuts for dozens of male students right in the school yard.
It is known that despite many difficulties in the process of building the worship facility, Pho Mon Pagoda always pays attention to charity activities. This is the 4th time in 2019 that the pagoda has organized a charity program to help the poor in the mountainous district.
