On the eve of the 14th National Congress of the Party, cadres, Party members, and the people of Nghe An province expressed their profound faith in the Party's leadership role; and at the same time, entrusted many expectations that this Congress would formulate strategic decisions to bring about rapid and sustainable development in the new period.

The 14th National Congress of the Party is a momentous political event, expected to open up strategic long-term policy decisions, creating a foundation for the rapid and sustainable development of the country in the new period.
In a world witnessing profound and comprehensive changes, particularly the rapid development of digital technology and artificial intelligence fundamentally reshaping education globally, each nation must establish a new educational vision and strategy for the future. For Vietnam, this is both a major challenge and a historical opportunity for breakthrough development, placing an increasingly urgent demand on building human resources and developing high-quality human capital to meet the requirements of the knowledge economy and digital transformation era.
The intellectual community expressed deep confidence in the Party's leadership role and hoped that the Party and State would continue to pay attention to leading and directing the effective implementation of the strategic resolutions issued, especially Resolution No. 57, dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, and Resolution No. 71, dated August 22, 2025, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of education and training.
Along with that, it is necessary to build and supplement the Party's leadership mechanism and the State's management mechanism in a synchronized and open manner, creating a favorable environment for intellectuals to develop their intellect and capabilities, and promoting democracy; encouraging scientists to research, invent, and create. At the same time, special attention should be paid to the advisory and social critique role of scientific and technical associations, social science associations, and literary and artistic associations in the process of building and implementing economic, cultural, and social development projects; and strong policies should be in place to attract talented scientists and technologists from both within and outside the country, especially the Vietnamese intellectual community abroad, to contribute to the country's development.
We believe that the 14th National Congress of the Party will uphold the will and aspirations for development of the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army; promote the spirit of unity, dynamism, creativity, "millions as one," proactively seize opportunities, overcome challenges, and resolutely carry out comprehensive and vigorous reforms along the socialist path; strive to successfully achieve the goal of "a prosperous people, a strong nation, a just, democratic, and civilized society," and bring the country firmly to stand shoulder to shoulder with other nations in the new era.

Nearly a century of revolutionary leadership in Vietnam has clearly affirmed the role, character, wisdom, and unity of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The Party has led our nation from a state of slavery to independence and freedom; from a poor and backward country to achieve many historically significant accomplishments, creating new momentum and strength for development. With this belief, veterans in Nghe An province hope that the 14th National Congress will continue to highly promote the spirit of innovation, breakthroughs, decisiveness, democracy, and wisdom; and will be the place where the will and aspirations for development of the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army are crystallized.
We expect the Congress to elect a new Central Committee that is truly exemplary in terms of character, competence, and prestige, possessing both virtue and talent, and capable of leading the country in the new period..The strategic directions identified at the Congress need to be thoroughly understood and implemented, focusing on the core contents of the draft documents of the 14th Congress: rapid and sustainable development, with people at the center, science and technology and innovation as the driving force, while maintaining independence and self-reliance, and ensuring the highest national and ethnic interests.
We are particularly interested in and place high expectations on the Congress's decisions regarding the building of a national defense system based on a solid people's security posture. In this, the "people's support" must be firmly consolidated; the People's Army and the People's Police must continue to be built into revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern forces, capable of firmly protecting the independence, sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Fatherland in all situations.
We believe that the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party will be a powerful call to action, igniting the aspiration for dedication and the spirit of national unity; creating new breakthroughs in socio-economic development and improving the lives of the people. In particular, those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution and other policy beneficiaries will continue to receive even better care and attention.
With unwavering faith in the Party, we believe that the 14th National Congress will open a new path of development, leading the country steadily towards socialism, for peace, independence, democracy, prosperity, civilization, and happiness.

We believe that the Congress will fully utilize the wisdom, courage, and innovative spirit of the entire Party, formulating sound and feasible strategic decisions that meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable development; and at the same time, continue to build our Party into an increasingly clean, strong, and comprehensive organization, capable of leading the country in the new era.
Based on practical experience, the Hung Chau Commune Party Committee hopes that the 14th Congress will continue to affirm and further concretize the central role of the people, taking the happiness and well-being of the people as the highest goal in all policies and guidelines. We hope the Congress will have groundbreaking orientations and solutions in socio-economic development, especially for rural areas; continue to focus on leading the construction of civilized and modern rural areas, linked with agricultural restructuring, rural economic development, and improving the material and spiritual lives of the people, especially in areas still facing many difficulties.
Upholding revolutionary traditions and the spirit of unity, the Party Committee, government, and people of Hung Chau commune pledge absolute loyalty to the Party, uphold a high sense of responsibility, and work together to successfully implement the Resolutions of the 14th National Party Congress, the Resolutions of the 20th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress, and the Resolutions of the 1st Hung Chau Commune Party Congress, term 2025-2030. We are determined to continue building a clean and strong grassroots Party organization; enhance the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party committee and the contingent of cadres and Party members; strongly promote the spirit of self-reliance, self-improvement, and the aspiration for development, contributing together with the whole country to realize the goal of building a prosperous and happy Vietnam.

This year, at 72 years old and with 45 years of Party membership, I have always followed the development of the Party and the country with deep faith and great expectations that the 14th National Congress of the Party will continue to issue correct policies and decisions that are in line with the people's will, meet the practical requirements and aspirations for national development.
Experience has proven that when Party resolutions align with the Party's will and the people's aspirations, they create immense strength for the successful implementation of the Party's policies and resolutions. With a spirit of focused intellect, promoting democracy, upholding responsibility, and staying grounded in reality, I expect the Congress to continue formulating stronger policies aimed at increasing income and improving the lives of the people, especially in rural areas. This includes attracting more businesses to invest and creating more stable jobs so that people can work with peace of mind and remain committed to their homeland.
I am particularly interested in Party building at the grassroots level, especially the quality of Party branch meetings. Party branches are the foundation of the Party; if Party branch meetings are substantive and serious, then Party resolutions will be implemented sustainably, and negative and wrongful behaviors will be detected and prevented promptly at the grassroots level.
As a Party member, I believe that the Party Congress will continue to be an important milestone, leading the country towards sustainable development, for the people, and for the long-term future of the nation.
