Joining hands and minds to successfully implement the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030

Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television respectfully introduces the closing speech of the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 by comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee:

Dear Congress!

After 2 days of urgent, serious and highly responsible work, the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, completed all the contents of the proposed program and was a great success.

The Congress focused on a lively and frank discussion on the Political Report and the Review Report of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term XIX, 2020 - 2025. The Congress unanimously approved the Resolution and agreed with the Draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the Congress with breakthrough goals, targets and tasks, demonstrating the great determination of the Party Committee, government and people of the province before the new term, striving to achieve the highest level so that by 2030 Nghe An will become a fairly developed province, a national growth pole in the new era of development of the country.

The Congress discussed and contributed many enthusiastic opinions on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party. The Congress elected the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term XX, consisting of 68 comrades who ensure the standards, structure, qualities, qualifications, enthusiasm, and are capable of shouldering the responsibility of leading and organizing the successful implementation of the Congress Resolution; elected 30 official delegates and 3 alternate delegates representing more than 200,000 Party members of the Party to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The 1st Conference of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, 20th term, elected the Provincial Party Standing Committee consisting of 17 comrades, elected the Secretary and Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, and elected the Provincial Party Inspection Committee. The results of the election session at the Congress and at the first meeting of the Provincial Party Executive Committee basically achieved a high number of votes, focused, demonstrating trust, solidarity, and high consensus throughout the Party Committee.

The Congress was honored to have comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, attend, encourage and give a speech on behalf of the Politburo. He acknowledged and praised the important achievements that the Party Committee and people of Nghe An province have achieved in the past term; at the same time, he specifically and deeply oriented the key, immediate and long-term tasks that the Party Committee needs to focus on leading and implementing in the new term.

The Congress assigned the new Party Executive Committee to seriously and fully absorb the opinions and directions of comrade Phan Dinh Trac and the delegates' comments, complete and soon officially promulgate the Congress's documents.

The success of the Congress marks an important turning point, demonstrating unity in will, consensus in action, and confidence and aspiration for new development. This is a great spiritual motivation for the entire Party, government, business community and people of all ethnic groups in the province to join hands to successfully implement the Congress Resolution.

The success of the Congress is the result of the attention and direction of the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, the valuable assistance of the Central Party, the National Assembly, the Government, the Central Committees, ministries, branches, socio-political organizations, the Party Committee, the Military Region 4 Command, and friendly localities to the Party Committee and the People of Nghe An province during the past time and during the days of the Congress. The Congress sincerely thanks for that affection and valuable assistance.

The Congress expressed deep gratitude to the leaders, former leaders of the Party and State, heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroes of the People's Armed Forces, heroes of labor; intellectuals, artists, businessmen and people of all walks of life in the province who have always cared for and made important contributions to the development of Nghe An over the past many years.

The Congress respectfully thanks the provincial leaders of all periods, the children of Nghe An who are working and retired in all parts of the country and abroad for always supporting, encouraging and dedicating themselves to the development of the province.

The Congress respectfully acknowledges and thanks the responsible and active contributions of the comrades of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the 19th term who were not re-elected, and the comrades who transferred jobs or retired during the last term. We wish you good health, happiness and to continue to follow and support the development of our province.

The Congress respectfully thanks the leaders, delegates, and distinguished guests for attending, sending congratulatory messages and letters to the Congress; and thanks the central and local press agencies for actively informing and spreading the spirit and content of the Congress to cadres, party members, and people during the past time.

The Congress warmly commended and acknowledged the Party organizations, socio-political organizations, all cadres, party members, soldiers and people of the province who have devoted their affection, attention and enthusiastically contributed their efforts and intelligence to the success of the Congress in the past time.

The success of the 20th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress is very important in the context that the whole country is striving to fulfill the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, preparing for the 14th National Party Congress.

The political system apparatus has undergone revolutionary changes towards streamlining, operating effectively, efficiently and effectively. The two-level local government has officially come into operation with increasing stability and promoting new roles and tasks.

In addition, reality is also posing many challenges, especially the ability to meet the task requirements of cadres, civil servants and public employees at all levels; the operating mechanism in the new context, space and development requirements; posing higher requirements on the proactiveness, creativity, flexibility and sense of responsibility, pioneering and exemplary role of cadres and party members in the entire Party organization, meeting the requirements of practice, the legitimate and increasingly high demands of people and businesses.

Therefore, immediately after the Congress, it is recommended that Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the province urgently and seriously organize the study and dissemination of the Congress Resolution to all cadres, Party members and people, creating high unity in awareness, consensus in will, and determination in action.

Timely and qualitatively develop and promulgate programs, projects and plans to implement the Congress Resolution, clearly assigning people, tasks, time, authority, responsibility, resources and results, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere right from the first days of the term.

It is recommended that each delegate attending the Congress should promote the core role of propagating and spreading the spirit, will and determination of the Congress to each agency, work unit, to cadres, party members and the masses; be exemplary and active in implementing the contents of the resolutions, contributing to bringing the Resolution of the Congress into life soon.

Immediately after the Congress, it is recommended that leaders of sectors, organizations, localities and units in the whole province urgently and resolutely focus on directing and mobilizing all resources to promptly and synchronously deploy solutions to overcome the consequences of heavy damage caused by storm No. 10, ensuring that no one goes hungry, no family is left homeless, quickly stabilize people's lives and all learning and working activities, restore production, business and develop socio-economy.

In the excitement, pride and high responsibility, the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, calls on all cadres, party members, armed forces, business community and people of all ethnic groups in the province to continue to promote the fine traditions of the homeland, unite, take advantage of opportunities, unleash potential, make more efforts, have higher determination, build a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; strive to make Nghe An a fairly developed province, a national growth pole in the new era of development, contributing with the whole country to complete the development goals by 2030, realizing the aspiration of a strong Vietnam by 2045.

With that meaning, on behalf of the Congress Presidium, I declare the closing of the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
