The art exchange program "Truong Bon - Footprints of Heroes" will be held on the evening of October 29th.
(Baonghean.vn) - The program aims to widely disseminate information among cadres, Party members, and all segments of the population about the significance of the Truong Bon Victory in the resistance war against the US to save the country.
On the morning of October 11th, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held a meeting with the Nhan Dan Newspaper to review the contents related to the art exchange program "Truong Bon - Footprints of Heroes" commemorating the 55th anniversary of the Truong Bon victory (October 30, 1968 - October 30, 2023).
Attending the meeting were Comrade Que Dinh Nguyen – Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper. Representing Nghe An province were Comrade Bui Dinh Long – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives from provincial departments and agencies, and the districts of Nam Dan and Do Luong.
The art exchange program "Truong Bon - Footprints of Heroes," commemorating the 55th anniversary of the Truong Bon Victory, was jointly organized by Nghe An province and Nhan Dan Newspaper.
The program is scheduled to be held on the evening of October 29, 2023, at the Truông Bồn Historical Site, Mỹ Sơn commune, Đô Lương district, Nghệ An province.
The program consists of two parts: the ceremony and the artistic program. The artistic program comprises two chapters: A glorious chapter in history and The flame of hope continues to move forward into the future.
Besides theatrical performances, drone light shows, and sand painting art combined with music and dance, the program also offers a poetic artistic space, imbued with love and pride for the homeland, connecting history with the present, with songs that have been deeply ingrained in the hearts of millions of Vietnamese people such as: Sacred Vietnam, Hearing the Nghe Tinh folk song in Moscow, Living like flowers, Red blood, yellow skin, There are such 20s, The promise of the young generation,…
The program featured performances by artists including People's Artist Quoc Tri, People's Artist Hong Luu, singers Ngoc Son, Duc Tuan, Ta Quang Thang, Phuong My Chi, musician Phuc Bo, sand painter Tri Duc and the dance troupe; former youth volunteers, students and residents of Nghe An province.
The program was organized with the aim of widely disseminating information among cadres, Party members, and all segments of the population about the significance of the Truong Bon Victory in the resistance war against the US and the contributions and sacrifices of the armed forces and the people.
Among them, we must mention the heroic example of the 13 young volunteer soldiers of the "Steel Squad," the suicide squad of Company 317 – Team 65 – General Volunteer Youth Brigade fighting against the US and saving the nation in Nghe An province, who sacrificed their lives while on duty. 55 years have passed, but the historical significance of the sacred land of Truong Bon remains undiminished and will forever be a source of pride for our people.
This demonstrates the national principle of "drinking water, remembering the source," expressing gratitude to the heroes, martyrs, and those who contributed to the revolution; contributing to strengthening revolutionary tradition education and the responsibility of generations, especially the younger generation, towards their homeland and country. It also promotes the cultural and historical values of the Truông Bồn Historical Site and the cultural traditions and people of Nghe An to the country and international friends.
The program also introduces Truong Bon, Nghe An, a land rich in tradition and culture, having gone through a process of tenacious struggle for national independence and freedom. Today's generations are building their homeland within the overall development of the country, with a spirit of pride in the past and a look towards the future.
To ensure the art exchange program is organized in a dignified, meaningful, engaging, deeply educational, and cost-effective manner, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Plan No. 73/KH-UBND dated October 4, 2023, on coordinating the program's organization. Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned specific tasks to local departments and agencies.
During the meeting, the leaders of Nghe An province and Nhan Dan Newspaper agreed on the planned items for coordination in organizing the "Truong Bon - Footprints of Heroes" program, from the script and broadcast schedule to the ceremonial arrangements, banners, mobilization of forces, and other related items.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long requested that after the meeting, the departments and agencies continue to closely adhere to their assigned tasks, coordinate with Nhan Dan Newspaper to do a good job of preparing facilities, welcoming delegates and guests; carrying out propaganda and visual promotion work, urban beautification; personnel participating in the program; ensuring security and order, power supply, and fire prevention and control.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Department of Culture and Sports to coordinate and exchange information with the Nhan Dan Newspaper to research songs for the art program, ensuring they are appropriate to the content so that the program can be successful and enjoyable.
