I myself have nearly 44 years of service in the military, having held many different positions and worked in various border and island regions of the country; I have been trusted by the Party Committee and the people of the province to hold many positions in the political system such as Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council representative, and National Assembly representative for two terms.

In July 2022, I retired and was elected Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association.

Having been nominated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province and the Provincial Veterans Association to run for election as a representative to the 16th National Assembly and a representative to the 19th Provincial People's Council, I am aware that this is a great honor, but it also comes with an extremely heavy responsibility.

If elected by voters and the people to the 16th National Assembly and the 19th Provincial People's Council, first and foremost, I must actively study and improve my knowledge in all aspects, especially information technology.

By managing time effectively, representatives can fully and efficiently fulfill their functions and responsibilities, meeting the expectations of voters and the people.

I myself have to spend a lot of time going to the grassroots level, promptly conveying the policies and laws of the Party and State, and the National Assembly to voters and the people.

By understanding the thoughts, aspirations, and suggestions of voters and the people, we promptly convey them to the relevant authorities. We also monitor the results of resolving the issues raised by the people.

When participating in parliamentary activities, proactively and accurately reflect the legitimate and lawful suggestions of voters in a timely manner.

Over the years, Nghe An has made very positive strides in development, and the lives of its people have improved significantly. The Party committee and government have paid great attention to social welfare, economic transformation, and creating livelihoods for the people. In particular, poverty reduction, housing support for poor households, disaster relief for storms and floods, and assistance to policy beneficiary families and vulnerable groups have been highly appreciated by voters and the people.

However, in some remote areas, border regions, and areas inhabited by ethnic minorities, although the lives of the people have improved, there is still a significant gap between them and the lowlands and urban areas.

In particular, the lives of families receiving preferential treatment, such as: Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, families of martyrs, wounded soldiers, veterans, former Youth Volunteers, frontline workers, and families affected by Agent Orange, are a concern. While all policies and regulations have been implemented and living conditions have improved, daily life still presents many difficulties, especially in the context of a market economy and the development of information technology. Accessing and benefiting from scientific and technological advancements remains somewhat challenging.

As National Assembly and People's Council representatives, we must be closely involved with the grassroots, working with organizations to understand the situation and advise Party committees and authorities on providing both material and spiritual support, especially in terms of livelihoods, to improve the quality of life.

Through acts of gratitude, we revive the Vietnamese tradition of remembering our roots and showing appreciation, providing timely and direct encouragement. Through these activities, we educate the younger generation to cherish and respect the noble sacrifices of our ancestors, which enabled our nation to enjoy the independence and freedom we have today.
