The 'Godmother' Program in Cua Lo
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to support, care for, and nurture orphaned children in difficult circumstances in the area, on June 3rd, the Women's Union of Nghi Huong Ward, Cua Lo Town, organized the "Godmother" program to help orphaned children in difficult circumstances in the area.

Accordingly, at the program, representatives of the family of the late Meritorious Artist Phùng Bá Gia, who are residents of Nghi Hương ward, sponsored two orphaned children, Hoàng Lê Na from Vĩnh Tân ward and Hoàng Văn Phước from Điện Biên ward, who have lost both parents. The support will be 1 million VND per month per child until they complete their university studies. Additionally, eight gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, were given to eight children in difficult circumstances.
The Women's Association of the Cua Lo Town Military Command has sponsored Hoang Van Hai Au, from My Thang ward, and presented him with a savings account worth 2 million VND; the Nghi Huong Ward Credit Fund has given 8 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to children in difficult circumstances.

The "Godmother" program is a highly meaningful and deeply humane activity, demonstrating the spirit of mutual support and compassion, a time-honored virtue of our nation.
The program is implemented by the Women's Union of Cua Lo town according to the plan of the "Godmother" program of the Provincial Women's Union. The program will provide timely support to children in particularly difficult circumstances, giving them motivation and a strong emotional support system to overcome their challenges, rise in life, and become useful citizens for their families and society.
