The "Helping Children Go to School" program distributed hundreds of gifts to students in Son Lam border commune.
On November 12th, in Son Lam border commune (Nghe An province), Ngoc Lam Border Guard Station, under the Command of the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard, coordinated with the Party Committee and People's Committee of Son Lam commune to organize the "Helping Children Go to School" program.

During the program, the delegation presented 25 new bicycles to underprivileged primary and secondary school students who live far from school, making it easier for them to get to class every day. In addition, 20 scholarships, each worth 200,000 VND, were awarded. The program also provides support to underprivileged students who are studious and strive for academic excellence. The entire cost of the program is sponsored by Pharmacist Thai Thuy Lam (Ho Chi Minh City), totaling 175 million VND.

In addition to receiving scholarships, underprivileged students at Son Lam Primary and Secondary School also received 25 bicycles, 200 school bags, and many essential school supplies, helping them to have better conditions for studying.

Specifically for the kindergarten in Son Lam commune, which still faces many shortages in facilities, the delegation donated 60 beds, 60 blankets, 100 pillows, 120 warm jackets, 120 sweaters, and many pairs of shoes and sandals so that the children can have better living and learning conditions during the upcoming winter.
These gifts, though not substantial in material value, contain warm sentiments, reflecting the spirit of mutual support and social responsibility of organizations and individuals towards the border regions of the Fatherland.

The "Helping Children Go to School" program has become an annual humanitarian activity of the Nghe An Border Guard force, contributing to supporting students' education in border areas and further strengthening the close and warm bond between the military and the people.
