New Year's Eve 2019 Art Program in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of December 31st, at Ho Chi Minh Square in Vinh City, thousands of people from Nghe An province gathered to watch the New Year 2019 Art Program. The program was organized by the Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports.

Attending the art program were: Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Minh Thong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of departments and agencies in the province.

The New Year's Eve 2019 art program is a cultural event of special political significance, marking the beginning of cultural activities in 2019 with the participation of many renowned singers who have won awards such as the Vietnamese Song Contest, the Sao Mai Rendezvous, Star Wars, Vietnam Idol, talented beauty queens in the top 15 of the Miss Tien Phong Newspaper pageant, bands, dance groups… and artists and actors from the provincial folk music and dance troupe.

The art program consists of three parts: Part 1 "A Picture of the Homeland", Part 2 "Spring Melody", and Part 3 "The Countdown".

The program's message showcases Nghe An as a province undergoing continuous renewal and development; the sentiments of its people striving to build their homeland, of those living far from home always yearning for their roots; and the youthful energy, faith, and hope that Nghe An will reach new heights.

During the performance, the artists and performers presented the audience with many outstanding musical and dance performances, creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere to encourage all sectors of the people in President Ho Chi Minh's homeland to unite and strive to successfully implement the political, economic, and cultural tasks set forth in the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress.
