Song Lam Nghe An players return home for Tet
In the atmosphere of Lunar New Year, the players returning home to celebrate Tet is always a special moment, bringing a feeling of reunion and warmth after a busy year with a tight competition schedule.
After the first 10 rounds of V-League 2024/25,Lam River Nghe Andid not achieve the desired results. The Vinh home team only knew how to draw and lose. However, entering the final round before welcoming the year of the Snake, Nghe An Club quenched its thirst to win against Binh Duong. This result not only improved the score for Song Lam Nghe An, but also helped Nghe An players relieve pressure to welcome the new year with faith and hope.

This year, coach Phan Nhu Thuat's students only had 5 days off. At noon on January 26 (27th of Tet), the players returned to their hometowns to reunite with their families and celebrate Tet with relatives and friends.
For Tran Manh Quynh, Ho Khac Ngoc, Ho Van Cuong and Phan Ba Quyen, Tet is not only a time to rest after days of hard training and competition, but also an opportunity for them to enjoy the warmth and reunion in the arms of their loved ones.

For Tran Manh Quynh, he always holds a deep love for his homeland. Quynh has had a busy year. Therefore, Lunar New Year is an opportunity for him to put aside all work, return to reunite with his family and enjoy the atmosphere of the countryside. In particular, this year's Tet will probably bring many emotions to the 24-year-old midfielder. Because Tran Manh Quynh was the author of the goal that helped Song Lam Nghe An win the first 3 points in V-League 2024/25.

Returning to his hometown, Manh Quynh was delighted to go to the Tet market with his mother. "The countryside market at the end of the year has a very unique character, both bustling and warm. Being able to choose each bunch of vegetables or candy with my mother... made me feel the tradition and reunion of Tet," Manh Quynh said.
Manh Quynh shared: "On the third day of Tet, we had to gather to prepare for the next journey of the season. I hope that in the new year, myself and the whole team will have a lot of luck, thereby achieving the goals as set."
Ho Van Cuong's excitement
Like Manh Quynh, defender Ho Van Cuong always considers Tet as the most important occasion of the year to reunite with his family, after months of playing away from home. For him, Tet is not only a time to rest but also a moment to bond and share simple but meaningful joys.

Every year, Ho Van Cuong's family waits for him to come home before starting to wrap banh chung. For Cuong, this is not only a traditional custom but also a special moment that helps the whole family have happy, warm moments after a busy year with their own work. "Tet must have banh chung made by the whole family together," Cuong shared.
Although he admits he is not good at wrapping banh chung, Cuong said: "I really like helping people, from cutting leaves, arranging rice to tending the fire." For him, sitting by the red fire, telling old stories and waiting for each batch of banh chung to cook brings a strange feeling of relaxation and warmth.
Ho Van Cuong has had an unlucky season, with constant injuries. As a result, he has missed many opportunities to play for Song Lam Nghe An. “I hope I will be lucky and return to my best form, thereby contributing to helping Song Lam Nghe An achieve many favorable results in their journey to find a ticket to stay in the league,” Cuong said with optimism and to affirm his determination as he enters a new year full of hope.
Happiness of Khac Ngoc
This year's Tet has a special meaning for midfielder Khac Ngoc. Because after a long time playing away from home, he has returned to join his hometown team.
The presence of Khac Ngoc has brought positive changes to the Nghe An team. In round 11, the midfielder born in 1992 helped Song Lam Nghe An play better, winning an important victory against Binh Duong. This achievement not only increased Khac Ngoc's personal confidence but also made his Tet holiday this year more meaningful.

In previous years, during Tet, Khac Ngoc was often busy with his competition schedule and could not stay home to share the work with his wife. However, this year, Khac Ngoc was able to accompany his wife and share the work of preparing for Tet. From cleaning, choosing peach trees to preparing the ancestral altar, everything was done together by the couple.

Not only spending time with relatives, Ho Khac Ngoc also took the opportunity to meet close friends. The stories at the New Year's Eve party were a way for him and his friends to look back on the past year, share successes, lessons and unfinished plans.
In the new year, Khac Ngoc has placed a lot of expectations on himself with the hope of helping his hometown team escape this difficult period. He shared: “With the experience I have accumulated after many years of playing, I hope to work with the young players of Song Lam Nghe An to achieve the goals set by the team.”
Although each person has their own way of celebrating Tet, the common point among the players of Song Lam Nghe An is their aspiration and determination for the new year. They hope that the reunion with their families will give them the strength to overcome challenges with the team, bringing joy to the fans of Nghe An.
