In a recent interview, MC Diem Quynh candidly shared about her marriage. The mother of two revealed that her life is very different from when she was an MC and had her first child.
"Before, I was too young, and I wasn't good at balancing work and life, nor did I have experience raising children. But now I'm doing much better. During the time I gave birth, I completely stopped working and dedicated all my time to my child. So, when I returned to work, I felt very excited," said MC Diem Quynh.
But that's not all, MC Diem Quynh added that the baby is a wonderful gift from God to her family. Every evening, the couple often compete to see who is more "powerful" and attractive to their second child.
Moreover, she doesn't have to struggle as much as before thanks to the invaluable assistance of her daughter, who is a third-year student at the Diplomatic Academy.
MC Diem Quynh shared: "Now, she's the one who does most of the housework. She goes to the market, cooks, cleans, and takes care of the younger sibling. Many days, I'm busy working and haven't had time to get home yet, and she's already called to tell me that she's prepared the dishes."
In response to the question, "Before the birth of her second child, did her eldest daughter think of herself as 'number one,' like the typical 'only child' mentality?", MC Diem Quynh said that her daughter also went through a similar phase.
"During her 11th and 12th grade years, she always felt important. But that feeling disappeared when she went to university. At that point, I placed responsibilities and authority on her shoulders, making her feel like she was the eldest sister in the family. She realized things weren't simple and became aware of her role as the eldest sister. Even now, my daughter still feels important, but it's because she takes on the responsibility of caring for the family," said MC Diem Quynh.
