Digital transformation to help rural industrial establishments 'understand correctly and do correctly'

On the morning of November 16, the Department of Industry and Trade of the Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade of Nghe An to organize a workshop on digital transformation for rural industrial establishments. Attending the workshop were Mr. Nguyen Van Thinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, along with leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade of Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Thanh Hoa provinces.

At the workshop, delegates were provided with multi-dimensional information and knowledge about digital transformation so that businesses can "understand correctly and do correctly". The workshop also focused on consulting, providing a simple digital transformation roadmap for businesses and introducing highly applicable, easy-to-implement solutions to help rural industrial establishments immediately embark on digital transformation. Through the workshop, State management agencies also better understand the actual situation and difficulties of enterprises, thereby having policies to encourage and support rural industrial establishments in a reasonable and effective manner.

The issue of digital transformation for rural industrial establishments in the current period is very necessary. Solving this problem, rural industrial establishments will have a solid foundation to confidently develop in the face of opportunities and challenges when our country participates deeply and widely in global free trade agreements.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of the locality said that to support rural industrial establishments to build and implement a suitable digital transformation roadmap, there needs to be synchronous coordination of all levels and sectors, from State management agencies to consulting units, experts and rural industrial establishments.

The Department of Industry and Trade needs to continue to promote propaganda and dissemination of mechanisms and policies on digital transformation for rural industrial establishments; Direct the Industrial Promotion Center to develop programs to support rural industrial establishments in digital transformation from local budget sources.

The provincial Industrial Promotion Centers advise on the development of a phased program to support digital transformation for rural industrial establishments in the area to submit to the Department of Industry and Trade and the Provincial People's Committee for approval; Gather needs and coordinate with the Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting Center 1 to deploy activities to support rural industrial establishments in the area to apply digital transformation.

Industrial Promotion Center 1 is the focal point to coordinate with the Industrial Promotion Centers of the provinces to gather the needs of rural industrial establishments regarding the need for digital transformation support at rural industrial establishments in the provinces and cities, thereby, serving as a basis for developing pilot industrial promotion projects and specific support programs to submit to the Department of Industry and Trade for approval, and arranging funding from the national industrial promotion fund in the following years.

On the side of the local Department of Industry and Trade, we will advise the leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to arrange the budget from the national industrial promotion fund in the following years for the content of supporting digital transformation for rural industrial establishments. The local Department of Industry and Trade will also pay attention to directing the Industrial Promotion Center 1 to urgently prepare, submit and implement the content of activities to support rural industrial establishments in digital transformation in the following years.
