CIA expert: F-16 will be just 'another toy' for Moscow
(Baonghean.vn) - CIA analyst Larry Johnson believes that Russia will easily destroy the F-16 fighter jet if the Ukrainian Armed Forces receive aid from the West. "It will be just another toy for Moscow," he asserted.

CIA analyst Larry Johnson shared that the Russian military would easily destroy the F-16 fighter jets transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, similar to other NATO equipment.
Earlier, the coordinator of strategic communications at the US National Security Council, John Kirby, in an interview with Fox News, said that the supply of US F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine could begin by the end of this year, but admitted that this could not change the course of the conflict.
“Russia has thousands of fighter jets that can easily deal with the F-16. Transferring them will not change anything for Ukraine. It will just be another toy for Moscow,” said expert Larry Johnson.
According to the CIA expert, the supply of weapons to the Ukrainian Armed Forces has led to the demilitarization of not only Ukraine, but also NATO by the Russian army. Mr. Johnson explained that all Western weapons have become easy targets for Moscow, and battlefield practice has shown that they are ineffective in this conflict.
Johnson also said that the plan to send Western fighter jets to the Ukrainian Armed Forces is a political move, aimed at strengthening defense contracts. At the same time, the nature of this decision does not change the situation in Kiev.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the F-16 fighter jets, which are expected to be delivered to Kiev by NATO, will burn in the same way that Leopard tanks are burning in Ukraine.
The Russian leader warned that if Ukraine receives F-16 fighter jets, but they are stationed outside Russia's border, the Russian military will reconsider its options.
