Experts rule out attacks on NATO from Russia.
Russian military action against NATO is completely ruled out, although if such a scenario were to occur, the Russian Federation would have many advantages, said Doctor of Military Science Konstantin Sivkov (Sweden).

Previously, experts from the Swedish Defence Research Agency released a report titled "Western Military Capabilities in Northern Europe 2020," according to which, in the event of a large-scale war, Russia would have an advantage over NATO countries due to the geographical dispersion of its forces.
"Russia will not conduct offensive military operations against NATO for the following simple reason: in terms of overall military and industrial potential, NATO is many times stronger than Russia. There will only be a defensive war here," said Sivkov.
In this case, the aggressor would create groups to carry out attacks against Russia on its border, Sivkov explained. According to him, the Swedish report has another purpose. Its mission is to convince the people and leaders of European countries of the need to allocate funds for reorganizing the road network.
"The reality is that about 80% of European bridge structures cannot withstand a load exceeding 50 tons. Therefore, the tanks that Europe has—the Leopard, Leclerc, and the American Abrams—can only be used on 15-20% of the bridges. The rest cannot withstand a weight of 68-70 tons, so they are unusable," Sivkov added.
