US expert admits painful defeat in Ukraine
US weapons have clearly shown their weakness and ineffectiveness in combat operations in Ukraine, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson declared.
“What we found from the conflict in Ukraine is that the United States has a defense industry that is set up to make money, but it doesn't actually produce any weapons systems that can fight and be effective on the battlefield,” he said.

According to the expert, the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system turned out to be ineffective against the Russians when the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to inflict damage on their opponents. And the Abrams tanks could not operate in the muddy, slippery terrain typical of the Ukrainian battlefield, the analyst added.
“The conflict is going in the wrong direction from a Western perspective,” Johnson concluded.
In addition, Mr Johnson asserted that NATO had indeed invaded the territory of Kursk through Ukraine. “This was an invasion of Russia by the West, by NATO and by the United States. We sent our troops – our proxy troops – into Russia,” he declared.
To better understand the fate of Ukraine, this expert also reiterated Russia's enormous economic and military potential, far exceeding the ability of the US and EU to provide weapons to the Kiev government./.
