Experts comment on the election in Ukraine
Member of the Russian Presidential Council for Inter-National Relations Bogdan Bezpalko commented on the presidential election process in Ukraine in an interview.
"So far, the results can only be predicted roughly. It can be said that voters in the central, southern and eastern regions were active. Meanwhile, not surprisingly, the turnout in the western region was quite low," said Mr. Bezpalko.

He added that the violations noted could have only a minor impact, but only if "the courts decide to annul the vote results in areas where they are allowed to do so".
Earlier, it was reported that the police received more than 150 reports of violations in the Ukrainian presidential election. The CEC (Central Election Commission of Ukraine) stated that the election was held completely normally.
March 31st saw the first round of presidential elections in Ukraine.
