The February journey of the "Journey of Kindness" stopped in Phu Phong village, bringing the national flag, trees, and a heartwarming meal for 49 households who had just received support to rebuild their homes after the floods.
Phu Phong village, Hoa Thinh commune, Dak Lak province, which suffered heavy damage from the historic flood of 2025, recently received new joy as 49 houses from the Quang Trung campaign were completed. In this atmosphere of revival, the "Journey of Kindness" program visited, bringing meaningful gifts and a warm New Year's Eve meal to the villagers.

After the historic flood that swept away much property, the face of Phu Phong village has changed thanks to the collective efforts of the community. 49 new, sturdy houses have been built, not only providing shelter from the rain and sun but also symbolizing the strong resurgence of this land. As the new roofs shone brightly in the spring sunshine, the "Journey of Kindness" stopped to share the joy with the villagers.

During this trip, the gifts presented were highly symbolic of solidarity and faith in the future. Each household received a national flag to hang in front of their house, creating a proud display of red against the blue sky. In addition, young saplings were also given for the villagers to plant around their homes, symbolizing life taking root and flourishing after the natural disaster.

The highlight of the trip to Dak Lak was a warm New Year's meal for 49 households, with the support of Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company (THACO). Without elaborate feasts, the fragrant sticky rice cakes and stories of overcoming hardship brought everyone closer together. This was an opportunity for neighbors who had once endured devastating floods to sit together and share joy in their newly painted homes.
The "Journey of Kindness" program is implemented by the Center for Digital Content Production and Development (VTV Digital) in collaboration with PSC Media Joint Stock Company. With the support of THACO, the journey will continue to spread humanitarian values and support disadvantaged communities across the country.
