CIA releases bin Laden documents.

The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) yesterday released numerous documents seized during the operation to kill al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in May 2011.

The 321 GB data file contains nearly 470,000 documents, including numerous audio recordings, videos, and text files stored on computers at the compound where bin Laden was hiding with his wife and children in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

The CIA also released a 228-page diary handwritten by bin Laden himself in Arabic. CIA Director Michael Pompeo stated that these documents give the American people an up-close look at the activities of the al-Qaeda leader.

Notably, bin Laden stored numerous Hollywood films, cartoons, and documentaries about himself on his computer.

According to the CIA, among the 10,000 videos, there were clips filmed by bin Laden's son showing the terrorist leader rehearsing speeches.
