CK Olympia 2025: Khanh Hoa erupts with emotion under the rain.
Thousands of people in Khanh Hoa braved the rain to cheer on Doan Thanh Tung, creating a deeply moving atmosphere at the 25th season of the "Road to Olympia" final.
On the morning of October 26th, thousands of students, teachers, and residents of Khanh Hoa province gathered at April 2nd Square (Nha Trang City) to cheer on Doan Thanh Tung, a 12th-grade Biology student from Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, in the final round of the 25th season of the "Road to Olympia" competition. Despite the heavy and prolonged rain, the atmosphere at the viewing location remained incredibly vibrant, reflecting the studious spirit and pride of the people of Khanh Hoa.
The atmosphere was electric at April 2nd Square.
From early morning, the square was ablaze with flags and resounding with the sound of drums. The presence of Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, along with leaders from various departments and agencies, further motivated "climber" Doan Thanh Tung. Despite the unfavorable weather, the crowd persevered, covering the square with their matching raincoats, creating an impressive image of unity.
Mr. Tran Hoai Bao, a local resident present at the viewing point, shared: "The people of Khanh Hoa are always as resilient as the waves. Rain or shine, we follow Tung's journey with pride. He not only represents Le Quy Don School, but also the studious and persistent spirit of the Tram Huong coastal region."
Distinctive coastal cultural imprint
This year's Khánh Hòa viewing event was not only vibrant but also deeply rooted in the coastal culture. The flycam performance displaying the words "Khánh Hòa - Proud of Olympia 2025" moved thousands of people to tears. Particularly noteworthy was the powerful performance of the "Hò Bá Trạo" folk song, a cultural heritage closely associated with the lives of fishermen, performed by students and accompanied by the rhythmic drumming, creating an atmosphere that was both lively and sacred.
Bao Ngoc, a student from Ly Tu Trong High School, said: "Hearing the 'ho ba trao' chant echoing in the square, we felt as if the entire Nha Trang sea was accompanying Mr. Tung." These distinctive cultural elements transformed the Khanh Hoa location into a festival of knowledge and pride for the homeland.
The proud journey of Doan Thanh Tung
At the S14 studio in Hanoi, Doan Thanh Tung displayed remarkable composure in the final round. After a cautious start in the warm-up round, he made a spectacular breakthrough in the Obstacle Course round, bravely pressing the buzzer to answer the keyword "The Soul of Truong Ba, the Butcher's Skin," temporarily taking the lead in the climbing challenge. Seeing thousands of people back home cheering him on through the screen in the rain, Thanh Tung couldn't hold back his tears.
In the final round, Tung chose a safe approach and did not use his "Star of Hope" ability. After four rounds, Doan Thanh Tung scored 210 points, securing the runner-up position. Although he couldn't win the laurel wreath, his radiant smile was already a victory in the hearts of his fans back home.
The pride of a land with a tradition of learning.
The 2025 Olympia Finals have concluded, but the impact from the Khánh Hòa viewing location still lingers. The image of a land known for its studiousness, unity, and rich cultural identity has left a deep impression. "Even though we only finished as runners-up, it's a victory for our courage, our studious spirit, and our pride in our homeland," shared Thu Ngân, a student from Lê Quý Đôn Specialized High School.
This event once again affirms that Khanh Hoa is not only a tourism center but also a place that nurtures talents and aspirations for advancement through knowledge. The pride in a friendly, studious Khanh Hoa that always strives to reach out to the world will be a great source of motivation for future generations of students.
