Despite playing at home, JFC Da Nang faced many difficulties against their higher-rated opponent. Defensive lapses led to the home team conceding 3 goals.

It wasn't until the end of the match that player Nguyen Thanh scored a goal from the penalty spot to reduce the deficit, sealing the final score at 1-3.

The 11th Central Vietnam Press Football Tournament - 2025 is a meaningful event, especially in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism. Maintaining the tournament for 11 consecutive seasons demonstrates the great efforts of the host organizations, as well as the positive response from press clubs in the Central provinces.

This year's competition brought together over 200 reporters, editors, and journalists from central and local media agencies in the Central region. The event not only contributed to creating a healthy playing field but also spread the spirit of sharing within the journalistic community.

More than just a highly professional sporting event, the Central Vietnam Press Football Tournament is also a meaningful community-connecting activity. In each season, the Organizing Committee and participating teams actively raise funds and support those in need.

In 2016, the teams donated over 30 million VND to support Vietnamese victims of traffic accidents in Laos. In 2017, a similar amount was donated to underprivileged children with illnesses at Hue Children's Hospital. In 2018, JFC Da Nang, along with the teams, awarded 6 gifts (each worth 5 million VND) to poor students and patients in Da Nang.

Continuing that tradition, at the 2025 tournament, the organizing committee raised over 30 million VND to support journalist Le Anh Son (Thanh Hoa) – who is facing difficulties in life.

To date, after each season, this football tournament has maintained its charitable activities, raising an average of over 30 million VND annually, becoming a beautiful and humane tradition among journalists in the Central region.
