Hanoi Police FC officially extends coach Alexandre Polking's contract until 2028.
With their hopes of winning the V.League 2025/2026 championship nearing completion, Hanoi Police FC is committed to a long-term future with coach Polking and his entire staff to prepare for the continental competition.
On the morning of April 24th, Hanoi Police Football Club (CAHN) officially announced the extension of coach Alexandre Polking's contract until 2028. This move comes as the team maintains its dominant position and prepares to enter the crucial stage of the 2025/2026 V.League season.
Building a solid foundation for big ambitions.
Currently, Coach Polking's team is leading the league table with a 7-point advantage over the chasing pack. With only 6 rounds remaining in the season, the new contract is seen as a testament to the absolute trust the management has in the German-Brazilian coach.

Notably, not only Polking himself, but his entire close-knit team of assistants also had their contracts renewed, including analyst Marcelino da Silva, fitness coach Paulo Alexandre, and goalkeeping coach Valdi Bardi. This renewal aims to maintain consistency in the club's training methods and team management.
A vision to expand into the Asian arena.
The commitment to a long-term future until 2028 is not simply an acknowledgment of short-term achievements. The CAHN leadership expects stability on the coaching bench to be the foundation for the team to achieve greater goals, especially the ability to compete on equal footing in Asian club competitions in the coming seasons.
Since returning to Vietnam in May 2024, the coach born in 1976 has quickly transformed the playing style of CAHN. Prior to that, he had built a formidable reputation by leading the Thai national team to a double AFF Cup victory in 2020 and 2022. At CAHN, he left a strong mark by guiding the team straight to the ASEAN Club Championship final in his first season in charge.
By successfully retaining their key playmaker, CAHN is demonstrating thorough preparation in both personnel and strategy to maintain their position as a top team in the region.
