From November 13-19, Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club I will play in Group A of the AFC Champions League 2025-2026 at Thong Nhat Stadium, aiming to advance beyond the semi-finals with 6 foreign players.
Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club I, the 15-time national champion, aims to reach the final of the 2025-2026 AFC Women's Champions League. From November 13th to 19th, the Vietnamese representative will compete in Group A at Thong Nhat Stadium, continuing to enjoy home advantage after reaching the semi-finals last season.

Sharing his goals and preparations, Coach Nguyen Hong Pham said: “This season we will definitely aim to go as far as possible, especially trying to surpass the previous record set by Ho Chi Minh City FC last season. This tournament will help Ho Chi Minh City Women's FC develop more strongly in the continental arena. Before the tournament, we prepared very carefully, especially with a training camp in Hanoi and a practice match with the Vietnamese women's national team. We will try our best in each match to achieve our goal.”

All matches in Group A took place at Thong Nhat Stadium (Ho Chi Minh City), allowing the team to maintain their familiar playing rhythm and optimize their recovery. According to the coaching staff, the pre-tournament phase was well-invested with a training camp in Hanoi and practice matches with the Vietnamese women's national team, creating the necessary physical foundation and cohesion for the crucial stage.

The Ho Chi Minh City women's club has significantly strengthened its squad with six foreign players – a record number in the team's history. Four players who were part of last season, including Aubrey Goodwill, Maria Khan (Pakistan), Sakura Yoshida, and Tatiana Mason (USA), continue to be present, maintaining the stability of the core team that helped them reach the semi-finals. The two new recruits, Ouni Samia and Gorman Chloe, have quickly integrated and are expected to add further quality and depth to the squad.
Captain Huynh Nhu expressed optimism: “Besides the four foreign players who played last season, the two new players have also integrated very quickly with their teammates. I hope the foreign players will bring a fresh perspective to the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club in this year's AFC Champions League.”
