(Baonghean.vn) - Having participated in music programs such as Do Re Mi (2015), Vietnam Idol Kids 2016,... and most recently winning first prize in the 8th night (November 25th) of the "Kids' Familiar Faces" competition, Ms. Tran Thi Diep Chi has become a source of pride for many audiences in Nghe An province.

Tran Thi Diep Nhi (9 years old) was born and raised in Dong Hong hamlet, Dong Hieu commune, Thai Hoa town, Nghe An province. Diep Nhi is an exemplary student of Dong Hieu Commune Primary School.

It is known that whenever the school organizes events such as the opening ceremony, closing ceremony, or commemorative rallies, she always participates in the performing arts. Each time, Diep Nhi always demonstrates maturity compared to her peers with her high, strong voice and confidence when standing on stage.

In 2014, Diep Nhi's mother enrolled her in the Do Re Mi singing competition. At the preliminary round in the North, Diep Nhi excelled, making it into the top 40 out of 267 contestants. However, she had to stop at this stage. Her dream of performing on the Do Re Mi stage never faded.

Understanding this, Ms. Hue submitted an application for her child to participate in the program in 2015. Through each performance, the child's abilities gradually emerged. It was the child's musical talent, combined with her adorable and confident personality, that convinced the judges.

2016 marked a significant year for Diep Nhi, establishing her name in the public eye thanks to her innocence, naivety, confidence, and wit during the Vietnam Idol Kids competition. Although she was eliminated in Gala 3, Diep Nhi brought a fresh perspective to the 2016 Vietnam Idol Kids program. She was considered one of the most captivating contestants in the first season of Vietnam Idol Kids.

But that's not all; Diep Nhi shone even brighter and gained even more fans with her versatile transformations in the 2016 Kids' Celebrity Impersonation Show. Through each round, Diep Nhi demonstrated her talent and ability to conquer challenges by impersonating figures such as People's Artist Tran Tien, Nha Phuong, Meritorious Artist Thanh Ngoan, the O-Zone group, etc., in various genres including pop, folk, and Cai Luong (traditional Vietnamese opera).

In the eighth week of the competition, with her impersonation of singer Siu Black performing the song "It's Not Because of Autumn," Diep Nhi and her mentor Vu Ha excellently won first place this week. This is the second time Diep Nhi has won first place this week. Previously, in week 6, with her impersonation of Meritorious Artist Thanh Ngoan performing the Xam folk song "One Quan is Six Hundred Dong" with coach Thu Hang, Diep Nhi successfully surpassed the other contestants to win 100 million VND.

Coach Vu Ha, who directly coached Nhi, was also impressed by Diep Nhi's talent, confidence, and liveliness: "I feel proud to be her coach, because her playful and adorable nature captivated me. Moreover, she is truly talented and very intelligent..."

When asked if participating in so many music programs affected her studies, Nhi confidently replied, "It does affect my studies a little, but singing has been my dream since I was little, so I'll participate in as many music programs as possible. Besides that, I'll still try to keep up with my classmates so I don't fall behind in my academic studies."

Currently, Diep Nhi is still trying to participate in many music programs, partly to express herself, and partly to hone her singing skills so that she can become a singer in the future.
