In localities that grow a lot of palm trees, each palm season, the sale of fruit brings in a significant source of income. The retail price of palm trees at the beginning of the season was about 20,000 VND/kg, now it is 10,000 VND/kg. Many traders go to each house to buy palm trees, collect palm fruits from mountainous districts and bring them down to the lowlands to sell. Palm fruit can be processed into many delicious dishes.
