Girl follows 2 necklace robbers, waiting for the opportunity to arrest them

Having her gold necklace snatched, the girl did not shout, quietly followed the couple waiting for them to be careless so she could pull them down.

On August 14, Binh Thanh District Police (HCMC) detained Tran Thi Truc Ly (25 years old) to investigate the act of robbery.

Before that, on the night of August 13, Ms. Diem (29 years old) was riding a motorbike on Phan Dang Luu Street (Binh Thanh District) when a young man carrying Ly overtook her and snatched her gold necklace. After a moment of panic, the girl quietly followed the robber. After revving the engine and speeding for a while, Ly's motorbike slowed down and calmly drove in the middle of the street.

Approaching the supermarket on Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Ms. Diem suddenly jumped up, pulled Ly down and shouted. At this time, Mr. Nguyen Vinh (reporter of Ho Chi Minh City Police Newspaper) who was nearby and the people rushed to arrest Ly and confiscate the evidence.

The young man who was riding with her stopped his car for a moment, supposedly intending to rescue Ly, but seeing a crowd, he increased the speed and escaped.

Initially, the investigation agency determined that Ly had just been released from prison for a 2-year and 6-month sentence for robbery. The police are hunting for an accomplice.
