The previous afternoon, a girl wearing a black dress and white shirt was repeatedly punched, kicked, and had her hair pulled by three women. The victim cried, covering her face and begging for mercy, but the group cursed at her while continuously hitting her head with a helmet.
A girl standing outside did not intervene but instead repeatedly taunted and incited others to beat and strip the victim. The group mocked, insulted, and deliberately stripped the victim's clothes off before leaving. The entire incident was filmed and posted on social media.
On October 4th, Colonel Nguyen Viet Hung, Chief of Police of Tuy Hoa City (Phu Yen province), stated that the incident occurred at the Nhan Mountain National Scenic Area in Ward 1 on the afternoon of October 1st.
"The victim reported the incident to the police in a state of panic, with numerous injuries and bruises all over her body, and was taken to the hospital for treatment by her family," the head of Tuy Hoa City Police said, adding that they are continuing to investigate.
