Pretending to be a construction contractor recruiting workers, Quang tricked a job-seeking girl into coming to his rented room, tied her hands, and threatened her with a knife to rape her despite fierce resistance.

On April 19, Cau Giay District Police (Hanoi) arrested Chu The Quang (38 years old) to investigate the act of rape.

Police determined that at noon on April 17, Quang made an appointment to meet Ms. Thuyen - who was posting an ad for an accounting job and introduced herself as a construction contractor looking to hire a worker manager. After reviewing her profile, Quang agreed to hire Ms. Thuyen and arranged to work the next day.

On the morning of April 18, Quang texted Ms. Thuyen the company address and told her to come over immediately to complete the procedures for getting an access card, even though this was his boarding house. Quang took Ms. Thuyen to the 3rd floor, tricked her into sitting at the computer to enter information, and controlled her to commit lewd acts.

The victim fought back fiercely, biting his tongue almost off, but Quang still did not let go. He tied the victim's hands, held a knife and threatened...

Only after forcing the victim not to call for help or report to the police did Quang open the door to let him go.

Quang was preparing to escape back to his hometown in Dong Nai when he was arrested.
