On April 19, the Cau Giay District Police (Hanoi) arrested Chu The Quang (38 years old) to investigate the crime of rape.

Police determined that on the afternoon of April 17th, Quang arranged to meet Ms. Thuyen, who was posting an advertisement seeking an accounting job, and introduced himself as a construction contractor looking to hire a worker manager. After reviewing her resume, Quang agreed to hire Ms. Thuyen and scheduled her to start work the following day.

On the morning of April 18th, Quang texted Thuyen the company address, telling her to come over immediately to complete the procedures for obtaining an access card, even though it was his rented room. Quang led Thuyen to the third floor, tricked her into sitting at a computer desk to enter information, and then sexually assaulted her.

Despite the victim's fierce resistance, almost biting off his tongue, Quang still didn't let go. He tied the victim's hands and threatened him with a knife...

After forcing the victim not to call for help or report to the police, Quang finally opened the door and let her go.

Quang was preparing to flee back to his hometown in Dong Nai when he was arrested.
