The Voice Vietnam 2018 final officially took place on the evening of September 2nd. The top 5 contestants were Minh Ngọc, Gia Nghi, Ngọc Ánh, Thái Bình, and Dương Quốc Anh.
Prior to the semi-final on August 26th, the show was embroiled in allegations of rigged results. An image circulating on social media showed Thu Ngan being eliminated in the semi-final, while Noo Phuoc Thinh retained his team of three members. According to the image, Minh Ngoc, from Noo Phuoc Thinh's team, would become the champion, with the remaining four contestants sharing the runner-up position.
It remains to be seen whether the final results will match the rumors that have been circulating online, however, at this point, Noo Phuoc Thinh is aiming for a 60% chance of winning. The three contestants in the top 5 from his team – Minh Ngoc, Gia Nghi, and Ngoc Anh – are all strong contenders with consistent performance.
