What's in a 6 million VND bowl of beef noodle soup in Taiwan?

The most expensive bowl of beef noodle soup at a restaurant in Taiwan costs around $308 (over 6 million VND), featuring premium beef from Australia, Japan, the United States, and Brazil.

According to Shanghaiist, Mr. Wang, the restaurant owner, is originally from Shaanxi, China. He opened a small restaurant, about 200 square meters in size, in Taiwan in 1990, specializing in beef noodle soup priced from 100 to 2,000 yuan (US$13 to US$308).

Five years after opening the restaurant, he began researching the recipe for the perfect bowl of beef noodle soup, from selecting the beef to the cooking equipment. The beef used was always top-quality, sourced from countries renowned for their cattle farming.Customers can choose from 6 broth flavors and 20 types of noodles.

"Since I turned 40, I've focused on making beef noodles. I prioritize quality, not quantity. I want to create the best-tasting bowl of noodles in the world," Mr. Wang said.
