(Baonghean.vn) - This is one of the issues highlighted in the review conducted in accordance with Central Resolution 4 (12th Congress) at the Party Branch of Block 10, Quang Trung Ward, Vinh City.

At the conference, party members in the branch reviewed the Party Committee and the entire branch, as well as the members of the Party Committee, in accordance with Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee (12th Congress). They frankly pointed out several shortcomings, such as: some Party Committee members not allocating time to study the resolution, and the lack of solutions to correct the lack of seriousness in studying the resolution among some party members.

During the study of resolutions, some comrades in the Party branch did not arrive on time, did not concentrate on the speaker, and the majority of young Party members who are currently working did not fully participate in the Party branch meetings…

Within the Party branch, some comrades still hold the belief that after reaching retirement age at their agency or unit, they are granted state retirement and therefore only want to rest, considering their responsibilities over. Some shirk their responsibilities with various excuses to request exemption from Party activities and duties…

After identifying the issues, the Party cell of Block 10, Quang Trung Ward, proposed solutions to address them for the Party cell, the Party committee, and the members of the Party committee. Participating in the discussion, Party member Nguyen Duy Nho, who has been active in the Party cell for over 26 years, frankly stated: "During Party cell meetings, we must clearly identify those comrades who did not attend the resolution study sessions, investigate the reasons, and make timely corrections."

Comrade Nho also suggested that the Quang Trung Ward Party Committee organize current affairs talks about the situation in the province and Vinh City for all citizens to know. "Every year, Party members listen to current events a lot, but there should also be a few current affairs talks with the general public," Comrade Nho proposed.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tien then asked: Is the Party branch truly strong? And he assessed: "The Party branch still needs to strive to create movement not only within the Party but also to bring that movement to the people and their lives."

"Urban civilization is not yet truly secure, the social environment is not truly clean, and the natural environment is still not clean or beautiful. The Party branch must lead in this matter, and Party members must set an example to create momentum among the people," Comrade Thanh Tien suggested to the Party branch; at the same time, he proposed that the Party committee should innovate the content of its meetings, making them more relevant to the target audience.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tien also expressed his wish that the province and Vinh City should continue to move forward in order to "unleash" Nghe An's potential so that the people can enjoy the fruits of development.

"The leadership style has become more approachable, closer to the people, more understanding of the people, engaging in dialogue with the people and the grassroots. I hope this will continue to be promoted," Comrade Thanh Tien conveyed to the provincial and Vinh City leaders.

Affirming the crucial role of the Party branch in accordance with Central Resolution 4 (12th Congress), Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh assessed that the review meeting at the Party branch of Block 10, Quang Trung Ward, was conducted very seriously, with a clear understanding of the Central Resolution 4 review, in line with the spirit of the Central Committee, and the assessments were close to reality.

"The opinions expressed by Party members, from general to specific issues at the branch level, were all reasonable," the Provincial Party Secretary assessed, while also suggesting that Party committees and individual members should draw on experience to develop concrete solutions. The goal is that after the Central Committee's review at the 4th Plenum (12th term), Party discipline must be higher; and Party members' understanding of their roles and positions must be better.

Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh also assessed that the Party spirit is clearly demonstrated among the Party members and the Party branch of Block 10, Quang Trung Ward. “Although they are elderly officials who have retired, the responsibilities of Party members are very clear; this is the exemplary nature of Party members. They clearly understand the leadership role of the Party, demonstrating a very profound understanding through their exemplary conduct and the positive influence of Party members on the masses,” the Provincial Party Secretary analyzed.

Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh also expressed his hope that after the review, in daily meetings and party activities, members would continue to help and remind each other to overcome limitations and shortcomings.

Finally, the Provincial Party Secretary stated that younger party members still need to train much more, and older party members must be very serious about guiding younger party members.

"In a market economy that dominates and significantly impacts life, if we don't pay attention to training, it will lead to the decline of young Party members. The younger generation of Party members must strive harder, and the older generation of Party members must be frank and, in the spirit of Party members and comrades, help the younger members to progress together," the Provincial Party Secretary urged.
