Con Cuong achieved revenue of more than 27 billion VND from tourism.

During the past tourist season, the Party Committee, the government, and tourist establishments in Con Cuong carefully prepared all conditions including infrastructure, services, reception, promotion... so Con Cuong achieved many results.

In the district, there are 12 hotels and motels with a total of 253 rooms, eco-tourism spots such as Kem waterfall, Pha Lai, Ta Bo, Nua village, Khe Ran, Xieng village... have been gradually invested, environmental sanitation has been paid attention. In parallel, local products such as medicinal tea, oranges, agricultural products, brocade weaving products, bamboo and rattan weaving... have made tourism products more diverse.

The district ensures the maintenance of public order and food hygiene and safety. The increasingly professional promotion of tourism has contributed to attracting many tourists to Con Cuong, including many international tourists. In the first 9 months of the year, the district had over 35,000 visitors; revenue from tourism reached over 27 billion VND.

Currently, tourism is a key economic sector, bringing efficiency and practical benefits to Con Cuong people, contributing to promoting Nghe An tourism. To exploit and promote all potentials and advantages, Con Cuong is determining to continue to innovate in the coming time; pay attention to improving environmental sanitation, creating landscapes to attract tourists, and at the same time surveying new tourist attractions such as Ma Nhai stele, Luc Da stone beach, Khe Sat temple...
