Con Cuong district generated over 27 billion VND in tourism revenue.

During the recent tourist season, the Party Committee, the government, and tourism establishments in Con Cuong meticulously prepared all the necessary conditions, including infrastructure, services, reception, and promotion, resulting in many positive outcomes for Con Cuong.

The district has 12 hotels and guesthouses with a total of 253 rooms. Ecotourism destinations such as Kem Waterfall, Pha Lai Ferry, Ta Bo, Nua Village, Khe Ran, and Xieng Village are gradually receiving investment, and environmental sanitation is being prioritized. Simultaneously, local products such as medicinal tea, oranges, agricultural products, brocade textiles, and rattan and bamboo handicrafts have diversified the range of tourism offerings.

The district has ensured security, order, and food safety. Increasingly professional tourism promotion has contributed to attracting many tourists to Con Cuong, including many international visitors. In the first nine months of the year, the district received over 35,000 visitors; revenue from the tourism sector reached over 27 billion VND.

Currently, tourism is a key economic sector, bringing practical benefits to the people of Con Cuong and contributing to the promotion of tourism in Nghe An. To fully exploit and develop its potential and advantages, Con Cuong is determined to continue innovating in the coming time; focusing on improving environmental sanitation, creating attractive landscapes for tourists, and surveying new tourist destinations such as Ma Nhai stele, Luc Da rock beach, Khe Sat temple, etc.
