Con Cuong launched the 14th Thai folk song club
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to preserve and promote national identity values, Con Cuong District Cultural Center coordinated with Don Phuc Commune to organize the launching ceremony of the Thai Folk Song Club in Phuc Village.

At the launching ceremony, there were more than 10 folk art performances including: bamboo flute solo, singing of the tunes of Xap, Lam, Nhuon... performed by the club members. In particular, during the launching ceremony, the delegates and members of the club also enjoyed the performance of reenacting the wedding ceremony - a typical cultural feature of the Thai people in Nghe An.

The Thai folk music club in Phuc village was established with 26 members. They are the core members in preserving and teaching traditional folk songs and dances of their people. In the context of the Thai people's folk art facing the risk of fading away, the formation of traditional art clubs is necessary. Up to now, Con Cuong district has 14 clubs operating in 12/13 communes and towns./.
