The Grossglockner High Alpine Road winds through the mountain ranges from Bruck, Salzburg, to Heiligenblut, Carinthia.

Photographer Mikołaj Gospodarek has been driving on this road since 2008 to take photos in different seasons.

The journey was impressive, featuring mountain peaks, glacial lakes, waterfalls, and huts along remote roads.

The road runs through mountain ranges from Bruck in the canton of Salzburg to Heiligenblut in Carinthia via Fuscher Törl.

The road becomes a popular tourist attraction from May to October.

In winter, snow covers everything.

Named after Austria's highest mountain, the road was planned in 1924 by a group of Austrian engineers. Their ambitious plan was met with ridicule.

But eleven years later, the Grossglockner High Alpine Road officially opened in August 1935. The road, like a ribbon, stretched across the mountains, meadows full of vibrant flowers, and stretches of ice and snow.

Thousands of tourists flock here to admire the beautiful scenery.

The roar of waterfalls, the chirping of squirrels, and the rushing wind on the mountaintop offer visitors an unforgettable experience.
