Viettel's 4G craze

Viettel is a pioneer in deploying 4G nationwide. After the official launch of the 4G network, more customers visited Viettel transaction points to upgrade to 4G SIM cards than before. At these registration points, users could experience the connection speed of the 4G network beforehand using smartphones with pre-installed 4G SIM cards displayed on shelves.

Viettel customers are very excited to experience the network service, which is available in Vietnam for the first time. Having just switched to a 4G SIM, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Diep (Truong Thi Ward, Vinh City) is very satisfied with the new service. Ms. Ngan said: "Viettel's 4G service has many packages, so customers can easily choose a package that suits their needs. I mainly use the internet to connect with friends, browse the web for information, and occasionally watch movies for entertainment, so I only subscribed to the 4G90 package, which is very convenient because the speed is significantly faster at a reasonable cost."

By the end of April 2017, Viettel had deployed 4G coverage in 100% of districts, cities, and towns in the province. 4G is the most advanced technology currently available. 4G LTE-A technology boasts download speeds of 300 Mb/s and upload speeds of 150 Mb/s, seven times faster than the current 3G HSPA+ network (with download speeds of 42 Mb/s and upload speeds of 22 Mb/s). Therefore, Viettel's 4G network offers customers numerous practical improvements and upgrades to optimize service quality and provide the most complete experience.

Viettel was also a pioneer in implementing a free SIM card exchange program, allowing customers to experience convenient services on the 4G network. Since Viettel officially launched 4G, the number of customers exchanging SIM cards has increased rapidly, and the number of 4G users has also increased significantly.

Thanks to its outstanding advantages, 4G has truly created a "storm," drawing Viettel network users into the inevitable development trend of the digital age. Viettel continues to promote its free 4G SIM card exchange program for users at Viettel stores, agents, authorized dealers, post offices, etc., nationwide; lasting until June 30, 2017.

Currently, customers who switch to a Viettel 4G SIM card will receive up to 10GB of free high-speed 4G data to experience for 7 days.

To meet the diverse 4G network service needs of customers, Viettel offers 5 packages, each with corresponding fees and data allowances. Specifically: Customers can register for the 4G40 package, costing 40,000 VND and providing 1GB of data; the 4G70 package, costing 70,000 VND and providing 2GB of data; the 4G90 package, costing 90,000 VND and providing 3GB of data; the 4G125 package, costing 125,000 VND and providing 5GB of data; and the 4G200 package, costing 200,000 VND and providing 10GB of data. These packages are valid for 30 days (for prepaid subscribers) and monthly (for postpaid subscribers). Additionally, customers can purchase additional 4G data packages.
