Son murders mother after drinking session.
Believing that caring for and supporting his mother was a burden, Kien Duoc, 34, beat her to death after returning home drunk.
On April 3rd, Được was taken into custody by the Tra Vinh Provincial Police on criminal charges related to the following act:Killing.

According to the investigation, Được came home drunk and found his 68-year-old mother asleep. He scolded her, saying she "has many children but none of them help raise her," leaving him to take care of her alone.
Considering his mother a burden, he punched and kicked her, then slammed her head against the wall. The victim begged for mercy and tried to run outside the house, but collapsed unconscious.
He carried her into the house and she lay there until the next day before being taken to the hospital by relatives. Two days later, the victim died. On April 2nd, Được surrendered to the police and confessed to his crime.
