The Dien Chau District Police are currently holding Tran Huy Ngoc in custody on charges of illegally buying and selling narcotics, with 2,000 ecstasy pills seized as evidence.

Previously, through intelligence gathering, the Dien Chau District Police discovered that Tran Huy Ngoc (born in 1983), residing in Vinh Tien hamlet, Dien Phong commune, Dien Chau district, showed many suspicious signs related to drug-related criminal activities.

This individual has connections with drug-related activities both within and outside the area; frequently travels to the border with Laos and to northern provinces. To evade law enforcement, the individual constantly changes their methods, tactics, means of transportation, and locations for storing drugs.

Given the situation, the Dien Chau District Police established a special task force with the determination to quickly apprehend the perpetrator. During the investigation, the task force mobilized personnel and resources, persistently monitoring the suspect's movements and gathering relevant documents and evidence. Using a combination of investigative techniques, the task force determined that on November 14th, Tran Huy Ngoc would be transporting a large quantity of methamphetamine for sale.

Accordingly, at 2 PM on November 14th, in Dien Phong commune, Dien Chau district, Dien Chau District Police caught Tran Huy Ngoc red-handed for illegally buying and selling narcotics, seizing 2,000 ecstasy pills.

Currently, the Dien Chau District Police are holding Tran Huy Ngoc in custody and continuing to expand the investigation into the case.
