Dien Chau District Police are detaining Tran Huy Ngoc for illegal drug trafficking, seizing 2,000 ecstasy pills.

Previously, through the work of grasping the situation, Dien Chau District Police discovered that Tran Huy Ngoc (born 1983), residing in Vinh Tien hamlet, Dien Phong commune, Dien Chau district, had many suspicious signs related to drug-related criminal activities.

This subject has connections with drug-related subjects inside and outside the area; regularly travels to the border with Laos and to the northern provinces. To deal with the authorities, the subject frequently changes methods, means of operation, means of transportation and locations for hiding drugs.

Faced with the above situation, Dien Chau District Police established a special project to fight with the determination to quickly arrest the criminal. Using synchronous professional measures, the Special Project Board determined that on November 14, subject Tran Huy Ngoc would bring a large quantity of pink heroin for sale.

Accordingly, at 2:00 p.m. on November 14, in Dien Phong commune, Dien Chau district, Dien Chau district police caught Tran Huy Ngoc red-handed for illegally buying and selling drugs, seizing 2,000 pink pills.

Currently, Dien Chau District Police are criminally detaining Tran Huy Ngoc and continuing to expand the investigation.
