Nghe An Police announced decisions on personnel work.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Duc Cuong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; comrades representing the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, the Provincial People's Court, the Provincial People's Procuracy, the Provincial Military Command, and the Provincial Border Guard Command.

Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police Department chaired the ceremony. Attending were comrades in the Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy Directors of the Provincial Police Department and representatives of the Public Security leaders of units and localities. Also attending were representatives of the Standing Committees of the District, City and Town Party Committees.

Implementing the policy of the Party, the State, and the Central Public Security Party Committee on continuing to arrange and streamline the apparatus for effective and efficient operation, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation; with the spirit of urgency "running while lining up", "the Public Security force is exemplary, taking the lead in implementing the policy of arranging and streamlining the apparatus", in recent times, the Provincial Public Security has urgently deployed tasks to organize a 2-level local Public Security model (provincial and communal levels), not organizing district-level Public Security and transferring a number of functions and tasks from a number of departments and branches to the Public Security force.

The work of arranging the leadership, command and cadres of the district-level police has received special attention from the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the leaders of the provincial police. With the spirit of "the superiors set an exemplary example, the subordinates actively follow", 33 leaders of the department and district-level police have voluntarily applied for early retirement or held lower positions to create conditions for the work of organizing and arranging cadres.

The provincial police have also mobilized nearly 1,400 commanders and officers to the commune-level police to meet the commune-level police model of at least 12 officers/commune; a part has been mobilized to professional departments. During the process of reorganizing the apparatus, many leaders and commanders have volunteered to return to the grassroots or been assigned to more difficult and arduous positions.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Personnel Organization Department announced the decision to transfer 104 comrades at the department and district level police levels according to the Project of the Central Public Security Party Committee. All comrades were transferred in accordance with their aspirations, working capacity, enthusiasm, and high determination to accept the task.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police Department acknowledged and highly appreciated the important and great contributions of generations of district-level police forces to the cause of ensuring security and order, contributing to building the glorious tradition of the "Heroic People's Armed Forces" unit of Nghe An Police. In particular, the Director praised the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of leaders, commanders, officers and soldiers of the police units and localities in the process of implementing the organization and apparatus arrangement and congratulated 104 leaders who were transferred and received new tasks in this period.

In the coming time, the Provincial Police Director directed: For the comrades who are heads of professional departments, it is necessary to promote the highest sense of responsibility, initiative, flexibility, and creativity of the leader; grasp the functions, tasks, and powers, respond flexibly to new task requirements; lead and direct the implementation of assigned political tasks, ensure flexible operation according to the new organizational model, promptly respond to requirements and tasks in the new situation.

For leaders transferred from district-level police to professional departments, especially leaders, they must quickly approach the work; promote their capacity, strengths and work experience, together with the Party Committee and leaders of the units, unite and unify their will to lead and direct the units to excellently complete their tasks.

As for the police officers and soldiers of the whole province, more than ever, this is the time to promote the qualities of the People's Police, "ready to go anywhere, do anything when the Fatherland and the people need", with a sense of responsibility, solidarity, cooperation, overcoming all difficulties in all situations. Therefore, the Director of the Provincial Police Department requested that comrades continue to improve their professional qualifications, quickly adapt to new work requirements.
