Nghe An police have installed over 600 security cameras and are issuing fines remotely in Vinh City.
On the morning of October 25th, the Nghe An Provincial Police organized a meeting to evaluate and technically accept the security surveillance system and traffic safety system in Vinh City before officially putting it into operation.
Accordingly, to further enhance the effectiveness of the security surveillance camera system in combating and preventing crime, especially in handling complex security situations and protecting major political events taking place in the area, the Nghe An Provincial Police have deployed a security surveillance and traffic violation enforcement system at the Provincial Police Command Information Center.

The security surveillance system has over 600 cameras at more than 190 locations, spread throughout Vinh City. These cameras are concentrated at traffic intersections, such as roundabouts, three-way and four-way intersections on major inner-city roads, key transportation routes, and important targets…
This is the most modern and integrated command center currently available. All camera systems and software and data management systems are integrated, utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology for intelligent recognition and search, in line with the latest Industry 4.0 trends.

The surveillance camera system has become one of the key modern command and control centers for Party and government leaders at all levels when there are requests and unexpected situations related to security and order occurring in the city, based on advanced technical equipment and modern technology.
During the one-month trial period, the new system with its smart technology solution enabled the Nghe An Provincial Police to promptly apprehend numerous perpetrators in the area, as well as assist local police in tracing related suspects.
