Nghe An police are working hard to help people overcome the consequences of typhoon No. 3.
In response to the complex situation caused by heavy rains and floods due to the remnants of Typhoon No. 3 (Typhoon Wipha), the Nghe An Provincial Police are working tirelessly to assist the people in overcoming the consequences and restoring their lives as soon as possible.
To date, 19 communes in Nghe An province have been severely affected by the remnants of Typhoon No. 3. Many of these mountainous communes are isolated, transportation is paralyzed, and the lives of the people are facing numerous difficulties.
To promptly reinforce the police force in mountainous communes to assist the people in responding to and overcoming the consequences of floods and heavy rains, the leadership...The provincial police have directed the deployment of 100 additional youth union members.They went to critical areas to coordinate with the commune police force and local security forces to support the people in overcoming the consequences of typhoon No. 3.
Despite the difficulties in accessing the affected areas due to landslides and floodwaters cutting off roads, immediately after reaching the areas, the reinforcement teams deployed four task forces in Anh Son commune, Nhan Hoa commune, Thanh Binh Tho commune (formerly part of Anh Son district) and Con Cuong commune (formerly part of Con Cuong district).
The teams quickly coordinated with the authorities and other forces to relocate property, evacuate people from areas at high risk of landslides and flooding, help people clear mud and fallen trees, and gradually overcome the consequences of the floods...
